BIPOC Femme Fest in support of Khalisa Rae’s GHOST IN A BLACK GIRL’S THROAT

Diannely Antigua! Ashwini Bhasi! Siaara Freeman! Natalie Lima! Janel Pineda! Patricia Smith! And me! All gathered to support Khalisa Rae, who will be reading from her debut collection Ghost in a Black Girl’s Throat. Hosted by the Room Project in Detroit as a fundraiser for Room; books sold by Literati in Ann Arbor. All of these things together make this basically the most special event ever to me.
